Clearfield Colony School is located 7 miles south of Delmont, South Dakota. It is part of the Tripp-Delmont School System. The school consists of 28 students, two regular classroom teachers, and a morning title teacher. | ||

The colony children begin their day at 6:30AM. They have a communal breakfast and then go home to do their morning chores. At 8:00AM they attend German School until 8:45AM. English school begins at 8:45AM. At 11:00AM the children are dismissed for dinner. The afternoon bell rings at 12:00PM. The afternoon session goes until 3:25PM. At this time the older girls clean the school until 4:00PM. At 4:00PM until 5:00PM they attend German school again. At 5:00PM they go to supper. At 6:00PM they have church and they are done for the day.
